Inuit Legend of the Arctic
The Qalupalik is a water dwelling monster of the Inuit, known to lie in wait for unwary children. One of many mermaid-like myths from around the world, The Qalupalik lurks at the water’s edge with a traditional amoutik pouch ready, waiting to scoop up misbehaving children and untended babies alike. An otherworldy humming is your last warning to take the threat of the ocean seriously, before a threat from the ocean takes you away to its underwater lair.
